J & J Communications Virtual PBX solution is a virtual phone system which gives you the functionality of a PBX, without the hefty price tag.

Direct In-Dial (DID)

Regular telephone number to receive incoming calls from the public telephone network.

Caller ID presentation

The Virtual PBX handsets have the capability to display the telephone number of an incoming call on the LCD screen.

Toll Saver/Caller ID Replacement

Set your Company number to display in caller ID when making calls from any phone in your Virtual PBX, so your clients can easily identify the number and answer the call.

Call waiting

Notifies you of an incoming call while the line is in use.

Call transfer

Allows you to transfer incoming calls to other extensions in your Virtual PBX, or to any other telephone number.

Call Park & Pick-up

With the Park and Pick-up feature you can park a call without specifying a receiving extension, so you can browse the office until you find a suitable location to pick up and continue the call.

Call hold

Enables you to put a caller on hold while a second call is answered or made.

Music on hold

Enables the Virtual PBX user to activate a music track of your choice for the caller to enjoy while their call is on hold.

Message on hold

Intermittantly insert service or product messages into the music tracks. Discount oppurtunities or new service offerings.

Voicemail

Allows the user to record a greeting and invites the caller to record a message when the call is unanswered.

Voicemail to email

Forwards the voicemail left by the caller to an email address of your choice in a .wav file

Extension dialing

Allows Virtual PBX users to setup a extension number and therefore allows them to call each other using this number free of charge.

Call groups

Allows you to route how the incoming calls flow through your Virtual PBX lines, either from extension to extension (sequential) or multiple extensions at the same time (simultaneous). Virtual PBX Call groups also allows you to add any external number (i.e. mobile, landline, or even overseas number) and these are also treated just like any other extension in the Virtual PBX.

Follow Me

J & J Communications call forwarding feature where the user is able to re-direct incoming calls to ring multiple destination numbers based on various call paths. The user also selects the interval at which the call is forwarded to the next number. Follow Me also treats external numbers as extensions in the Virtual PBX.

Multisite

Virtual PBX was designed to be used in multiple locations (including overseas) as a single network. Virtual PBX extension can not only be in the same office, but anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection. Furthermore, all calls between extensions are free of charge.

Online web portal

User-friendly web portal that allows you to access your J & J Communications account to make adds, moves or changes and manage the above mentioned features of your virtual PBX.

Fax capable

Allows you to send and receive fax through our VoIP network.

Auto-attendant

An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menu that presents the caller with options for the call to be transferred to the area of interest.If the customer deploys the Virtual PBX for more than one business, Auto-attendant recognizes the DID the caller has dialed and greets the caller with the respective IVR message and options. To connect to the J & J Communications Virtual PBX you will need to purchase some Linksys or SNOM IP handsets, Analogue telephone Adapters for FAX and or Cordless/Corded Handset functionality and optional PoE (Power over Ethernet) Switches to connect the equipment to your network.
